Welcome to the Mid Downs Radio website. We broadcast for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from our studios at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.
The station is a Registered Charity run by an enthusiastic, dedicated team of unpaid volunteers. You can listen to us in The Princess Royal Hospital on your Hospedia bedside unit or on speakers throughout the Hospital. We’re also on your radio, broadcasting on 1350 AM. We’re also available on the Internet either by using the Listen Live facility on this website or on the Tune-In Radio app on your smartphone or tablet.
We now have more than twenty presenters who play a wide variety of music, with features, live and recorded interviews, and a range of information on health, social care, well-being and community issues.
Read about our future plans, how we are adapting to the change in our audience profile and the new health service structures. See what our Chairman, Sol Mead has to say! Click here
