We are deeply saddened to say that friend and co-presenter Mopsy Whitworth has passed away after a

short battle with cancer . She was 89 years old but no-one who met her could believe that as she was so

bright and full of fun and took an interest in everyone. She loved chatting to our guests as one of the

Simply Redheads on Mid Downs Radio and was a great companion on our many outings for the radio.
