Mid-Downs Hospital Radio, is a registered charity (Charity no. 279077), operating as Mid-Downs Radio, whose objectives are to relieve sickness, infirmity and the disabilities attendant on persons with various medical conditions and those in social care, who are living in Mid-Sussex, by providing a local broadcasting service and information for hospitals, hospices, old persons homes and similar health and social care institutions and wherever possible, providing a similar service within the local community to assist patients receiving "care in the community"

5. How We Keep Your Data Secure 

 

Your data is stored securely. When it is stored electronically it is kept in password protected files. When it is stored online, in a third-party website (e.g. Google Drive), we ensure the third party complies with the UK GDPR. When it is stored on paper it is filed in a secure place.

6. How long We Keep Your Data For 

 

When we no longer need your data, or when someone has asked for their data to be deleted, it will be deleted securely. We will ensure that data is permanently deleted from computers and other digital media, and that paper data is shredded. 

Your data will be removed routinely from our records if you have not volunteered for the group, or have ceased being a member for 12 months. You can ask to have your details deleted or amended at any time by contacting us at membership@mdr.org.uk
