Our new patron David Hentschel

We are delighted to welcome David Hentschel as the new Patron of Mid Downs Hospital Radio.

David has a distinguished reputation in the music world and is well known as a music producer and film score composer having produced albums for Genesis, Elton John, George Harrison and Queen among many others . 

His support and expertise mean a great deal to us as we celebrate our 50th year broadcasting music entertainment and  companionship to patients in hospital and to the vulnerable, sick and lonely in the wider community. 

His involvement will help us highlight the important role hospital radio plays in supporting the health and wellbeing of those in our community and our commitment to helping diverse people of all ages gain experience in the field of broadcasting.
